SmartCuffs PRO is purposefully designed for clinics and healthcare professionals, specifically to facilitate Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT). BFRT safely restricts venous blood flow from a working muscle while allowing arterial blood flow to that muscle. This innovative approach proves instrumental in enabling patients to initiate post-surgical rehabilitation sooner than traditional methods allowed.
The PRO pump included in the package is equipped to monitor and autoregulate pressure inside the cuff during exercise. The cuffs themselves are 4 inches wide, ensuring safety as lower pressures are required to achieve Limb Occlusion Pressure (LOP).
Beyond its application in rehabilitating patients, SmartCuffs PRO prove beneficial for individuals who are immobile, mobility-restricted, bedridden, casted, elderly, athletes in active recovery, and those experiencing decreased joint or tissue loads.
