Omron MIT Elite Plus Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor
The Omron MIT Elite Plus are fully automatic blood pressure monitors are stylish and modern, yet offer comfortable, quick and accurate blood pressure monitoring. They offer the main OMRON features such as irregular heartbeat detection, hypertension indicator and body movement indicator. They also feature advanced averaging (3 measurements within 10 minutes).
Big display. Displays on average the three latest measurements. Memory for 90 measurements. Detects irregular heart rates and body movement during measurement, which could influence the results, and displays them on the screen. An indicator detects when the measured values lie above the recommended blood pressure.
The MIT Elite Plus can communicate with your computer thanks to the enclosed Omron Health Management software on CD-ROM (Windows only) and cable. With this software you can adjust measurement results, graphically display them, and send them via Email to your doctor. The data of the Walking Style Pro step counter can be read by the same software, combined, and edited. For greater usability, the MIT Elite Plus comes with a backlight display.

Intellisense Technology
A very important part of the blood pressure measurement is the handling of the correct pressure pumping. IntelliSense™ is the application of the latest electronics in order to achieve that the cuff of the blood pressure device is pumped up exactly with the right pressure. Unnecessarily high pumping requires a lot of time and is also unpleasant or even painful.
For individuals with high blood pressure, a somewhat irregular heartbeat or other heart complaints lets the blood pressure [and thus the required pumping pressure] vary greatly. Certainly for them is IntelliSense™ of great importance. With some models, measurement already begins during pumping and is already completed when the pumping stops.
